Who is This?
My background, however, begins in 1987, when I was born into a United States Navy family stationed in Jacksonville, Florida; travel is in my blood. I lived in many places, including Jacksonville, Florida, Wallops Island and Dahlgren, Virginia, and Spokane, Washington, before arriving in Charlotte, my current city where I've lived since 2010.
The summer following my sophomore in high school, I had the opportunity to travel abroad for the first time; I visited Australia & New Zealand as a People to People Student Ambassador, followed two weeks later by a trip to England as a Senior Girl Scout for an International Scout Camp. That summer my "plan" changed completely; I discovered professional tour directing. I couldn't imagine a more perfect fit for my love of people & travel.
I graduated from the International Tour Management Institute (ITMI) in 2005. Since then, I have had the incredible opportunity to travel around the country and the world with tour groups of all ages. I adore my work as a tour director, and have a goal of opening a company to broaden my horizons, which leads me to Johnson and Wales for management and business training.
I just finished my 8th trimester at Johnson & Wales, which makes me officially a senior! I will complete my bachelor's degree and two concentrations in February 2014. I'm always looking toward the future, so I'm looking toward answering the next big questions - jobs? moving? travel?
I work for a local vineyard, a large concert venue's premium seats division, tutor at school for a number of different subjects, and volunteer with the USO in Columbia, SC. So my life is always an adventure.

I am excited about my journey, and invite you to join me as I travel along the path toward my goals.
May you always "Travel Light"
